Athens Burning: The Persian Invasion of Greece and the Evacuation of Attica / Η Αθήνα στις φλόγες

Between June 480 and August 479 BC, tens of thousands of Athenians evacuated, following King Xerxes’ victory at the Battle of Thermopylae.
