The Greek Mafia may be involved. Vivid dreams of ancient deities consume her sleep. A maze of clues leads her to believe that her mother is still alive… She must go to Greece. The answers to her perilous quest lie there, as Helene braves into the unknown of a new life, torn between two Greek guys and a new world that literally awaits her.

Over 500 people in Greece have contributed to the Author’s research for the Protogenesis novel, including renowned Greek archeologists, cultural and mythology experts, and the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. Due to the overwhelming support Alysia has from so many in Greece, Protogenesis has been selected to be featured as part of the United Nations’ (UNESCO) 2018 World Book Capital event in Athens. Με τα ασυνήθιστα βιολετί μάτια της, κρυμμένα πίσω από χοντρά γυαλιά, η έφηβη Αμερικανίδα Ελέιν Κρόφορντ είναι ο τύπος της μαθήτριας που έχει πάντα την απάντηση σε ό,τι ρωτούν οι καθηγητές της. Κι όμως, δυσκολεύεται να ταιριάξει στο περιβάλλον της. Μια μοιραία μέρα, η καθημερινότητά της ανατρέπεται βίαια. Ξεσπά μια φωτιά. Η μητέρα της χάνεται. Κάτι δεν πάει καλά… Στην υπόθεση υπάρχει περίπτωση να εμπλέκεται ο υπόκοσμος της Ελλάδας. Στον ύπνο της την κατατρέχουν ολοζώντανα όνειρα στα οποία εμφανίζονται αρχαίες θεότητες. Ένα μπερδεμένο κουβάρι από στοιχεία την ωθεί στο να πιστέψει ότι η μητέρα της εξακολουθεί να ζει… Πρέπει να ταξιδέψει στην Ελλάδα. Οι απαντήσεις σε αυτή τη μυστήρια και επικίνδυνη υπόθεση βρίσκονται εκεί όπου η Ελέιν έρχεται αντιμέτωπη με το άγνωστο, σε μια νέα ζωή· διχάζεται ανάμεσα σε δύο αγόρια που τη διεκδικούν και ανακαλύπτει έναν εντελώς νέο κόσμο που την περιμένει. Σε αυτή την απίθανη περιπέτεια που ξεκινάει για εκείνη ίσως οι αρχαίοι Έλληνες θεοί να βρίσκονται στο πλευρό της – ή εναντίον της. Άλλωστε, τίποτα δεν είναι όπως φαίνεται.
